Apply that same theory to boat pose. Some keys to this posture are...&lt;br /&gt;First be able to do some (lots really) push-ups and planks without grunting or wobbling:)  Once you've developed some strength...a huge key to crane is tucking the legs and knees in close.  See how there is almost no space between my legs and torso as well as the knees up high by my arm pits.  This balances the majority of weight right above the hands and the tucking keeps the legs stuck to the arms.  Keep breathing! This is an awesome stretching and strengthening yoga posture!  Key things to remember = Hands grounded a little wider than the shoulders (balls of the fingers down as well as the palms), Chest presses back only until you have a line from hands to up the hips, Press the legs back behind the knees until straight (may take weeks or months), once legs are straight lengthen from the hips to the heels with the feet hips width apart.  So the end result will have a charge or energetic press from the hands up to the hips and over down to the heels.  Full name = Downward Facing Dog Posture 0r Adho Mukha Svanasana. Currenty the home of Wayne County governement...however the word on the street is that they may move out over a lease dispute.  Another vacant building in Detroit as a result of people not being able to get along and behave fairly? I don't go on this side of town much and had never seen this place before.  Apparently it is a store...I'm guessing beads.  The sign out back next to the giant sculpture of collected what have you says Mbad bead museum.  I didn't get to go inside today...as I assumed that at 7pm on a Sunday they weren't open.  But I will definitely be back!  The outside of the place looked awesome!  You can't see it in the picture but in addition to all of the painting on the walls there are giant shards of mirrors placed in the wall as well. I'll be photographing people, places, things as well as documenting any actions/reactions with any folk and or wildlife;)  Today was pretty uneventful, although I did get pulled over on Woodward just north of Comerica park for not using my turn signal to pull away from the curb.  The officer checked me and then let me go, at which point I proceeded to the lovely river walk pictured to the left.  Down at the Detroit river walk you will find several fountains, a carousel, fine landscaping with many areas to sit and read, socialize with friends or folks, or just relax and enjoy the amazing view of the Detroit river.  Also something quite nice that you don't see around other parts of the city...people biking, skating, jogging, walking, hand holding, smiling, and laughing.  I've found this to be true each time I go to the river walk.
