Sweet People Mover

Tiger Stadium
The word on the street is that the flag pole will remain and that over 90% of the stadium will be recycled. That's right....90%. Anyway...I happend to be in Corktown last summer and got some pics of half a Tiger Stadium. In with the new, out with the old.www.detroityoga.com

Wayne County Building
The lovely, Wayne County Building located at 600 Randolph Street in Downtown Detroit was constructed from 1897 to 1902. Currenty the home of Wayne County governement...however the word on the street is that they may move out over a lease dispute. Another vacant building in Detroit as a result of people not being able to get along and behave fairly? And not just any building...this one is a treasure.

Mbad Bead Museum
Today I spotted this place as I was driving up West Grand Blvd at Grand River. I don't go on this side of town much and had never seen this place before. Apparently it is a store...I'm guessing beads. The sign out back next to the giant sculpture of collected what have you says Mbad bead museum. I didn't get to go inside today...as I assumed that at 7pm on a Sunday they weren't open. But I will definitely be back! The outside of the place looked awesome! You can't see it in the picture but in addition to all of the painting on the walls there are giant shards of mirrors placed in the wall as well. Pretty neat!
